C10 Squarebody LS Swap "Kit" - HD Motor Mounts & Transmission Crossmember
This "Kit" includes our HD LS Swap Motor Mounts with Poly Bushings, and our HD 4L60E Transmission Crossmember. The motor mounts will place the LS fan properly in the factory truck radiator shroud, and move the rear of the engine forward approximately 1/2" for greater firewall clearance, along with rear driveshaft length clearance. Factory Low-Mount A/C Compressors will need to be removed and relocated if you are planning on running Air Conditioning, as there will be clearance issues with the factory frame crossmember. The transmission crossmember has many adjustment options to accommodate different transmissions and engine placements, but works especially well with our motor mounts and a 4L60E transmission. Clearance is given for up to 3" exhaust pass-thru under the crossmember, while keeping everything tucked up above the bottom level of the frame. The crossmember design also includes upper mounts like the factory crossmember for added strength against frame twist, which is very important with these trucks as the front cab mounts are right outside and need that support.
All parts will come raw steel, ready for you to paint or powdercoat them whatever color you desire!
Hardware:
- Motor mounts come with a 9/16" bushing bolt, but use factory bolts at the frame side and the engine block
- Transmission Crossmember comes with all new frame hardware, and re-use transmission bushing hardware
