Here is our Squarebody GM "Winch Cradle" that supports most 10,000lb winches with a separated solenoid box. The solenoid box will not fit above the winch, and must be located either off to the side of the winch or moved up into the engine bay or wherever you see fit. The winch sits underneath the radiator support, and therefore it is much easier to operate the freespool level if it is "clocked" forward for easier access (this can be done to most any winch with some basic know-how). The Winch Cradle attaches with (4) 1/2" Bolts to the ends of each frame rail, and also with (4) bolts to the crossmember at the anti-sway-bar attachment points. This is the highest-clearance and best approach angle you will find that still supports a winch - great for those rock-crawlers or tube buggies built off the K-series chassis! If you are running this on the street, you can also order our side "Wings" that will complete this Winch Cradle into more of a full-coverage bumper.
**Fitment - '73-'87 model years. Early Squarebodies ('73-'80) will require that the front frame horns be trimmed, and some of mounting holes to be drilled. Later models should be bolt-on.
Comes bare steel only!
This product is made to order. Lead times vary, but average 5-7 business days to manufacture before shipping.

GM winch cradle
Just received my cradle....Darren was great to work with, answered all my questions and builds a quality product. The build and shipping times were spot on and he communicated every step of the way. I will definitely be ordering the side wings and talking to Darren about anything else I need built for the build.
